A game-probing asking bid. After a suit fit has been found, any new suit bid by either partner asks the other about controls in that suit. The other partner responds as well:

1 step = no control
2 steps = singleton
3 steps = void
4 steps = king
5 steps = ace
6 steps = king and ace
